Every Pandora car alarm system with an integrated immobilizer uses a tag in order to authorise the car owner. Without this tag, it is possible to start the engine, but impossible to start off - the engine will be switched off as soon as such an attempt is made.
In Hands Free mode the tag can control not only the immobilizer relay, but also the central lock.
