Pandora DXL 4790

This 4G GSM/GPS/Bluetooth alarm system allows you to control and monitor your car no matter the distance. Its GSM module works in 4G/LTE, 3G и 2G, and uses two antennae at once, thus guaranteeing high sensitivity and absence of connection losses while driving. It can work with two SIM cards: the first one is a chip SIM (locked to MTS, a Russian carrier), and the second one (nano SIM) can be chosen without restriction and installed by the user.

The Pandora DXL 4790’s main unit is the same as is used in the Pandora DXL 4710, but in the former it comes with a LoRa RF-module that must be placed on the windscreen. There’s a button on the module that is used for sending a SOS signal and typing in the PIN code.

The RF module communicates with the main unit via Bluetooth only: the only wires that are connected to the RF module are its power wires that can’t be used to find the main unit. The Pandora DXL 4790 features the new D-043 remote, which design is similar to the D-010 and D-022. But the new remote is stronger and bigger in size, and its accumulator’s capacity has doubled comparing to the predecessors. The LoRa band (868 MHz) is supported by Bluetooth, which provides a stable connection even when there’s a lot of noise; the remotes communicates directly with the main unit via Bluetooth, so any possible damage caused to the RF module won’t affect the ability to control the car.

The owner’s smartphone (iOS or Android) is a fully-featured alternative to the remote: it can communicate with the car at a distance up to 150 m (3,2 feet) via Bluetooth 5.0 or at unlimited distance if using GSM.

The Pandora DXL 4790 is stocked with the BTR-101 relay and the PS-331 BT siren that uses personalized sounds for different types of events. The system allows using the car only if it has recognized the driver – you need to have the immobilizer tag (comes in the set) on you, and your smartphone can do the job as well. In case of an unauthorized attempt to set off the engine will be securely blocked with the BTR 101.
