This system is a light version of Pandora DXL 4970 – preserving all the functions of the flagship, Pandora DXL 4950 is available for a more affordable price since it doesn’t have an additional remote, a siren and the Bluetooth relay BTR-101 in its set.
Pandora DXL 4950 features a new D-670 remote that was developed especially for the system. With the remote you can use all the functions available at a distance up to 2 km (1,2 miles) and the 3G GSM module allows you to exercise total control over the system at an unlimited distance. Your smartphone can be used as a means of control, too: you can message the system and get notifications from it, adjust the system as you see fit and locate your car – there is a built in GPS/GLONASS antenna in the main unit.
By means of Pandora DXL 4950 you can use remote start either starting the engine before the ride with the remote or smartphone or presetting automatic launch by exact time, battery voltage, engine temperature, etc. IMMO/KEY interface allows preserving all the OEM keys by means of algorithmic immobilizer bypass.
Especially for turbocharged engines Pandora DXL 4950 features turbotimer. The system can also control engine preheaters: first it turns on the preheater and after the engine warms up the system turns down the preheater and starts the engine. Such algorithm extends the operational life of the engine and allows you to feel comfortable from the very beginning of the ride.
3CAN/2LIN interface is used for a delicate installation even in the most modern cars with a very complicated circuitry. Pandora DXL 4950 identifies the owner by a Bluetooth tag that comes in the set – all you need to do for the system to recognize you is to approach the car carrying the tag around.
